The success of any business enterprise depends in large part on the skills of its management team and Directors. The management team brings to TTI a track record of many years experience growing successful businesses and applying creative problem solving techniques in high tech environments.


Marco Messina, President & CEO, Director

Mr. Messina is co-inventor of the Unilight and holder of one of the patents assigned to TTI. He founded the Company in 1998 to protoype and commercialize the Unilight signal and technology. Mr. Messina brings to TTI over 25 years of business management experience including international banking, corporate finance, information systems management; new technology development and commercialization (co-invented and developed a hardware and software system for electronic distribution of video games); visiting lecturer and associate professor of business management at undergraduate and MBA programs at Seattle University; fifteen years managing IT consulting practices (Fenix Consulting, Platinum Technology, Computer Associates); executive management (President, National Scientific Corp., a NASDAQ listed company focused on patents acquisitions and development). Mr. Messina holds a BS in Psychology and a MBA from Indiana University Graduate School of Business.


Richard Bourke, V.P., CFO and Director

Mr. Bourke has over 20 years experience in financial management and services. His management background includes Directorships, Founder and President of several entrepreneurial businesses. He has broad industry experience, including manufacturing, electronics, investment banking and venture capital, and has participated in over $60 million of financings for early stage companies. From 1994 to 1997 he was the EVP and CFO of The Little Gym International, Inc., an international children's services firm. Since 1997 he has been the founder and Chairman of National Integrative Medicine, Inc., an Internet healthcare company. Mr. Bourke's prior experience includes VP of Corporate Finance for Norcross Securities, an NASD broker-dealer in Phoenix, Arizona; President of the Development Corporation of Montana, a geographically targeted risk capital firm; President of Montana Beverages, Ltd.; VP of Air Plastics, Inc. He holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.


Robert Johnson, Product Development Manager

Mr. Johnson has been a consultant to industry for 30 years, specializing in product design, development and production. He holds over 15 utility and design patents, both foreign and US. As a consultant, he has been captive to ITT Advanced Technology for 9 years, and has been on staff with 4 major product design consulting firms. Areas covered range from automotive design to medical teaching and surgical equipment, to consumer products. His education includes 3 years at the Art Center College of Design, Pasedena, and a BS in mechanical engineering with a minor in nuclear engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also has spent 3 years as a submarine refueling engineer for Admiral Rickover's civilian group.


Dana Woudenberg, Director and Management Consultant

Mr. Woudenberg was for 30 years owner and CEO of Woudenberg Enterprises, the largest traffic safety company in the USA., a $60 million company in safety equipment manufacturing, rental, and contracting. He developed the operational strategies for the United Rentals $450 million industry rollup.
Mr. Woudenberg is past President and Director of the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) and past Director of Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Arizona.



Nathaniel Behura, Industry Relations Consultant

Mr. Behura is the President of LEDPro Consulting, a firm specializing in the evaluation and development of LED applications for traffic management. Mr. Behura has 12 years of experience in the Transportation and Traffic Engineering industry, where he has worked both in the private and public sectors. Formerly he was a traffic engineer with the City of Anaheim, CA where he spearheaded the introduction of LED retrofits for use in traffic signals. Mr. Behura is a member of ITE, and he chairs various committees and conferences concerned with the adoption of industry standards. Mr. Behura has a successful track record as a consultant to multinational corporations involved in furthering the adoption of new technologies that improve safety and cost effective traffic management. Mr. Behura holds a Masters degree in Transportation Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.


Joe Chao, International Marketing & Joint Ventures Consultant

Mr. Chao is President of JC International, a technology transfer consultancy. Mr. Chao has over 20 years international business experience, including technology transfer, marketing and business intelligence research. Mr. Chao holds a master's degree from the Department of International Relations at the University of Chicago, specializing international technology transfer. Before coming to the U.S., Mr. Chao worked for the Chinese Academy of Space Technology, the Chinese government high technology agency, in Beijing, as an international business planner.
