The RomLabs Story

RomLabs was incorporated in 1982 to commercialize the electronic distribution of videogames through the use of reusable cartridges.
The reusable cartridges and the telecommunication technology were invented and developed by the founders of RomLabs.
RomLabs terminated operations in 1984 along with all consoles and games manufacturers when the industry collapsed as a result of unmanaged supply of games. The industry was revived years later by Nintedo with new technical standards and new suppliers. None of the original industry participants remained a force in the new videogames business.
